Rev. Wayne Zhang
Pastor - Chinese Ministries

Pastor Wayne Zhang leads the Chinese ministries. He was born in Beijing, China, and worked as an accountant for 15 years with a construction company in China and abroad.

He came to faith through the Lutheran mission while working in Macau. Upon sensing God's call to full-time ministry, he pursued theological studies at Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catharines, Ontario, beginning in 2004.

He served as vicar (intern) at Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond, from 2010 to 2011. After receiving his Master of Divinity degree in May 2011, he was called to serve as the Chinese pastor of Trinity. Pastor Zhang also oversees the Chinese ministry at Faith Lutheran Church in Surrey.
